Pierre de Maere - Ave de Maere LP
WAGRAM
Ave de Maere
Omschrijving
The "Ave De Maere" LP by Pierre De Maere is released on Wagram and issued through the Cinq 7 sublabel. Over twelve tracks, the album unfolds a dense pop aesthetic that connects personal narratives with distinctive melodies; “Je pense à vous” and “J'aurais fini par te plaire” were already released as singles and serve as guiding motifs throughout the songs.
On "Ave De Maere," Pierre De Maere explores the transition into adulthood: first loves, early disappointments, and the struggle for self-assertion are portrayed in concise, often surprisingly direct arrangements. Tracks like “Mon paradis,” “Opinel,” and “Je m'en souviendrai” place shifting emphasis between reflective intimacy and self-assured theatricality without sacrificing compositional cohesion. The production remains accessible while still leaving room for detail in the vocals and instrumentation.
